Google Ads or Facebook Ads: Which One Should You Start With?
Both can bring you customers, but they work in different ways. Choosing the right one first saves money and time.
Google Ads: reach people who are already searching
Your ad appears when someone types what they need into Google. They are already looking, so they are often ready to call or buy. This works well when people search for what you offer, such as an architect, a repair service or a coaching class.
Facebook and Instagram ads: reach people before they search
These ads appear while people scroll. Nobody is searching, but you can show your offer to the right kind of people by age, area and interests. This works well for products that look good in photos or videos, new brands, offers and events.
How to choose
- If customers often search for your service, start with Google Ads.
- If your product is visual or people don't know they need it yet, start with Facebook and Instagram.
- If your budget is small, pick one and do it well before adding the other.
Whatever you pick, track the results
Count calls, form messages and WhatsApp chats that come from your ads. Without this you cannot tell what is working. Start with a small budget, learn what brings customers, and then spend more on what works.
